TEACHING
I have several years of experience teaching middle and high school students, college students, and adult learners. I currently teach Literary Arts at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12.
I have offered writing workshops through the National Women's Theatre Festival and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
I have served as a Guest Artist at Denison University, Bloomsburg University, Point Park University, and Meredith College. I have also videoed in to many high school classrooms to speak with students in conjunction with productions of my work. It would be my pleasure to engage with your students in whatever way would be most meaningful. Let's discuss!

"Thank you so much for connecting with us the other day. I really admire your work. When I read the play I was just sold on it immediately. It’s just the perfect combination of things I look for in a high school play. Most of all, the humor and ideas are accessible, sweet natured, but mature. And, as a couple students mentioned, it presents a kind of queer representation that most of these students have a hard time finding, if they even know to look for it. That’s a hard balance to strike."

Theater for young audiences
I am passionate about creating fun and engaging scripts for use in educational settings. If you'd like to talk about which of my plays might be a good fit for your group, how I might engage with your students, or about commissioning a new piece for your program, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
"We wrapped up production on our Space Girl this weekend and had a BLAST! It was exactly what our students needed at the end of this crazy, virtual year. [...] I wanted to thank you, again, for taking the time to pop in to meet the cast, it really deepened their whole experience with the production and breathed new life into their energy and love for this script!"
